Description
Volunteers will work in schools and a youth center, engaging with children through workshops. They will assist with homework, extracurricular activities, and organize events such as camps and sports days. Together with teachers, they will support children in overcoming academic challenges and help them integrate better into the school system. The volunteers will be active in two primary schools and in youth outreach. Their goal is to raise awareness among children and the community about the importance of environmental protection, solidarity, respect, and active participation in today's society. They will focus on ways to make the environment where we live more beautiful and better

Financial Information: Each month, you will receive €200 for food expenses and €151 as pocket money. Additionally, your travel expenses to Slovenia and back home will be reimbursed. During the workday, you will receive free breakfast at the school. You will stay in a comfortable, well-equipped house where you’ll have a single room. Other volunteers will also live in the same house, creating a shared community environment. The location will provide easy access to workplace
Training during the activity
As part of the ESC program, volunteers are required to complete language courses on the Online Linguistic Support platform. Additionally, there are two mandatory training sessions organized by the National Agency: an On-Arrival Training at the start of the program and a Mid-Term Training partway through. Volunteers also have access to a variety of online training opportunities through the Salto platform, which cover multiple areas of interest and skill development. With the support of a mentor, each volunteer will complete a Youthpass certification to document their learning and achievements.
Participant profile
Participants must be motivated to work in schools and youth center and they have to enjoy working with children.
They have to be open to diversity of children.
Another important feature is empathetic engagement and maturity. Particularly for volunteers, maturity is an important component and acceptance of responsibility for the work.
The volunteer must be respectful and polite in all circumstances. He /She must take into account the commitment he/she is making by signing the volunteer contract and must respect it. Open and accepting of others. Ready for challenges and self-initiative. They are interested in environmental issues and especially likes to learn new ways of using digital tools. The level of education is not important here and in the selection of the candidate will be made by the enthusiasm and desire to participate in our project activity.
