Egyesek (About us)
We contribute to build communities where people are aware of their own freedom of choice, they do what they love and connect with each other peacefully.
Egyesek Youth Association is a community of active youth and young professionals.
The aim of our activities is that – we, young people – explore our own strengths and resources using them consciously to fulfill our personal and professional life. To reach that we deliver trainings and volunteer activities.

* Youth exchanges.
* Trainings for youth work professionals and volunteers.
* Development projects in the field of youth work in Europe.
- Our activities
Target group: Hungarian and international youth, and experts working with youth, organisations and communities.
Youth: active volunteers, youth at risk, vulnerable youngsters, young people in school and work transition, world explorers, gap year.
Experts working with youth: youth workers, trainers, coaches, mentors, social workers, teachers, youth leaders, peer educators, and NGO staff from all sorts of fields: youth, education, business.
Organisations: informal groups, NGOs, SCOs, schools, and social enterprises. We are members of the Alliance of European Voluntary Service Organisations and we appoint an EC member to Coordinating Committee for International Voluntary Service (CCIVS).
Communities: We are doing grassroot and outreach youth work in Nógrád county, more specifically in Szécsény micro-region. Through international workcamps we contribute to the development of local communities all over Hungary.
Office work and Activities
- What will you do?
COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT
Manage our social media accounts: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube.
Plan out our social media accounts’ content.
We work with Canva to create visual contents
Create info packs for upcoming training courses, youth exchanges, workcamps, volunteering projects, etc.
Edit our website through WordPress (add entries on different new projects).
EVENTS
Organize different events to promote our activities (Turkish night, food tasting event, etc.)
Participate to info-sessions in universities and high schools.
Sometimes also online presentations, and in job and university fairs.
CONTENT CREATION
Go to Hollókő and Szécsény once in a while to create content (taking pictures, videos) during workcamps, trainings and youth exchanges
BONUS: VIDEO EDITING
If you know or would like to improve your video editing skills, that’s the place :)
Profile
- Apply if you meet the criterias below:
- You are between 18-30 years old
- Good spoken and written skills in English
- Committed to spend 10 months with us
- Availability for more or less 5/6 hours per day
- Hands-on, proactive attitude with attention to detail
- Collaborative working style, good team player but with demonstrated ability to work independently
- Open-minded, willing to learn, and flexible mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- You live in one of the following countries:
One of the EU member states; North-Macedonia, Turkey, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisi
You will be located in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. As the biggest city in the country, in Budapest you will be able to find all the facilities you need, use a convenient transportation system, and experience the main tourist spots. There you can visit museums, explore the city, or find events near you.
As Hungary is located in the heart of Europe, you will also be able to travel easily to different neighbour countries and inside of Hungary itself.
